ALLIANZ ARENA (soccer stadium)

High-tech soccer stadium in the northern part of Munich with space for 70.000 spectators. Location for the 2006 World Football Cup games and home of the two Munich soccer teams – FC Bayern München and TSV 1860 München.

On game-free days, stadium tours are offered for 10,00 EUR. Since 2012 the FC Bayern runs its own museum there, the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt.

BAVARIA FILMSTADT

The Bavaria Filmstadt is one of the largest film studios in Europe. Here were created movie classics like „Das Boot“ or the „The Neverending Story“, but also television productions like the telenovela „Sturm der Liebe“. Experience an unforgettable tour through the film settings and props, 4D motion simulation cinema and visit the Bullyversum.

TIERPARK HELLABRUNN / Munich Zoo

The Tierpark Hellabrunn is the first geo-zoo worldwide and gives an impressive insight into the natural habitats around the continents, without any disturbing railings. A unique natural paradise situated within the landscape conservation area of the Isar meadows with over 19.000 animals of 750 species.

SEA LIFE IN THE OLYMPIC PARK

4500 animals of the underwater world: turtles, zebra sharks, colourful jellyfishes, anemone fishes and also native river and sea animals. Special exhibitions, public feedings and „crab stroking“.

BMW WORLD

Experience the fascinating history of the brand BMW with over 125 original exhibits. Right next to the museum is situated the Experience and Delivery Center of BMW

THERME ERDING

Wellness, relaxation, fun and action in the largest spa in Europe at 145000 m²: the slide paradise „Galaxy“ provides 18 different slides in three different levels of difficulty, spacious resting areas and cascades with seats, the world’s first infra-red family sauna, healing sulphur water, a Kneipp course and so on.

CIRCUS KRONE

Europe’s largest circus, based in Munich at the Kronebau, the only permanent building for circus events in Germany.  Each winter from the end of December until the end of March, there are three completely different international circus programmes presented in monthly succession. In the summer there are lots of different programmes too.

EVENT ARENA AT THE OLYMPIC PARK
